AMS needed custom courseware and training for new consultants, as well as existing business analysts and software developers, accustomed to the world of mainframe software. The purpose of this training was to introduce these analysts and developers to client server development, n-tier architectures, and the networked software environment.

The solution was a three day course built from the ground up consisting of lectures and substantial hands-on work in the form of hypothetical business requirements driving client server solutions. Attendees spent a substantial amount of course time as members of three to five person development teams hammering out client server solutions to fit client requirements.
